Emerald City Wanderers is planning a club bus trip to spend 3 days walking on the Oregon Coast. The highlights of the trip will be walks at Cape Lookout State Park (pictured above) and Cape Mears State Park (pictured below). Both events are being put on by Oregon clubs.
The Itinerary (tentative):
Saturday, Jul 20: Walk Cape Lookout State Park Event
Sunday, Jul 21: Walk Cape Mears State Park Event
We will be either leaving Friday morning and walking on Friday also (returning Sunday night), or leaving Saturday morning and walking on Monday also (returning Monday night). Additional walks may include YREs such as Astoria, Fort Stevens and Ilwaco, Wa (just across the border).
Generally, we try to schedule two trips with the bus each day -- one to/from the main walk of the day and one to/from a second walk (YRE) later on for those who like to walk two events in one day. The hotel will probably be in Astoria.
